What are your delivery times?

We always endeavour to deliver as quickly as possible.

The items available for purchase in our Heros publishing catalogue – in particular the volumes of ‘Schule der Rockgitarre’ (School of Rock Guitar) by Andreas Scheinhütte – usually leave our premises one to two working days after receipt of order or payment.

In the case of other items, we may first have to order them from our suppliers or produce them on demand, which may result in a longer delivery time. This applies in particular to orchestral material available on hire, which we ask you to order at least eight weeks in advance.

How are delivery costs calculated?

Sales items ordered via our online catalogue are delivered to German addresses free of charge.

For shipment to EU countries, we charge a flat rate of 15 EUR.

For deliveries to the rest of the world, we charge a flat rate of 23 EUR. Depending on the country, additional taxes or customs duties may apply due to import regulations in force there. We have no influence on these.

Costs for delivery of other items, including hire material, are calculated individually based on size and weight.

Are fees payable to GEMA, AKM, SUISA or a similar organisation?

Concert performances held in venues licensed by the local collecting society do not require an additional performance licence.

Excerpts from one and the same stage work with a total duration of more than 20 minutes (or of any length if they include choreography, scenic representation, narration, pantomime or stage sets) are not covered by a licence from the collecting society. For this, you must purchase the right of use from us.

Can I view the score before renting orchestral material?

We cannot provide all scores, but we can provide many for perusal for one month — either digitally or by post.

May I perform a complete stage work in concert?

That depends on the stage work in question. Please contact us regarding musicals and operettas that are available for concert performances.

What is considered a ‘concert performance’?

A concert performance does not include any scenic elements, i.e. no costumes, no choreography and no stage design.
